Stories that aim for the heart and get results.

Teho Media Group handles PR, earned and paid media, crisis communications and content for organizations with something important to say.

Our mission

We tell stories that aim for the heart, get results and uncomplicate the complicated.

Aim for the heart

People act on what they feel. We find the human story inside every program, product and policy.

Get results

Every plan starts with goals and KPIs. We measure coverage, reach, inquiries and enrollment, and report what moved.

Uncomplicate

Insurance rules, public safety programs, policy and technical data become clear language that audiences understand and remember.

Everything your story needs, under one roof

One partner for strategy, media, content and crisis response, for businesses, nonprofits, public safety agencies, health care and government. We plan the campaign, write the words, buy the media and measure what it delivered.

Selected work

Four stories, four different problems. Each one started with a clear goal and ended with results we could measure.

Health plan · Integrated campaign

Medicare enrollment that cut through the noise

Challenge
Every fall, Medicare shoppers are flooded with ads. The plan needed trust, not just more airtime.
Approach
Research-driven timing, emotional and practical stories matched with experts, paid TV, radio and digital, and media-trained spokespeople.

37,000+ new enrollees and a 5-point gain in Michigan market share.

Public safety · Social and advocacy

Getting a community to pick up the phone

Challenge
Crime Stoppers depends on a steady flow of anonymous tips and on lawmakers who protect its reward program.
Approach
Scroll-stopping social content like a “Wanted: Your Ex” Valentine's Day post, plus outreach to Michigan congressional offices for H.R. 6029.

Anonymous tips up 10% in 2024 and 15% in 2025; one post earned 200+ shares.

Nonprofit · Event marketing

A signature fundraiser built from nothing

Challenge
A Crime Stoppers chapter relied on grants and donations and had no signature event.
Approach
Created an interactive crime-mystery fundraiser brand and directed concept, budget, sponsorships, media and partners.

$130K+ raised in three years, with 150+ guests every year.

Crisis communications

Responding with compassion under privacy law

Challenge
A widely reported tragedy drew local news calls, and privacy law barred discussing the member or the case.
Approach
Set boundaries with legal and compliance, offered general education and briefed leaders and front-line teams.

Privacy protected, no escalation and a constructive relationship with the newsroom.

How we work

The same five steps, whether the job is a product launch, a fundraiser, an enrollment season or a crisis at 10 p.m.

  1. Listen and research

Your goals, your audience, the data and what competitors are saying.

  2. Find the human story

The person, the moment and the stakes that make an audience care.

  3. Simplify the message

Plain language, clear proof points and a spokesperson ready to deliver them.

  4. Deliver everywhere

Earned, paid, owned and social channels working from one plan.

  5. Measure and report

Coverage, reach, sentiment, traffic and the business results that matter.
